Volunteer with OLC
The Oakland Landscape Committee offers stimulating volunteer opportunities for avid gardeners, garden designers and individuals with building skills to develop school and public gardens in Oakland.
Help design, build and/or enhance school and public gardens while sharing your expertise and learning new skills
Volunteers are drawn from corporations, community organizations and local schools and churches. Individuals are always welcome.
OLC works regularly with the Alameda County Probation Department’s Weekend Training Academy, providing community service opportunities for juvenile offenders.
Some individuals prefer to work on their own schedule, weeding and doing general maintenance. Others, who like to work with a group, should contact us for more information.
Donate to OLC
Financial contributions are always welcome to help fund plant material, irrigation supplies so that the Oakland Landscape Committee can continue our neighborhood vegetation management and school beautification projects.
